The people and the company behind the service.
Firearmdesk is run from George, in the Western Cape, by a small team with a named person responsible for each part of the service. This page says who they are and how the work is governed.
Named people, clear responsibilities.
Wayne de Jager, executive management
Leads the business: the service, the custody partner network, finance and compliance. Wayne is also the Information Officer under the Protection of Personal Information Act, reachable through the contact page.
Leandri Starbuck, admin coordinator
Runs matters day to day: new referrals, document requests, communication with executors and firms, and coordination with custody partners.
Philip de Jager, attorney, advisory council
Advises the business on estate administration and legal matters. The advisory role is to Firearmdesk itself; Philip does not act for firms, executors or heirs through the service.
Administration staff
General administration staff support the admin coordinator with referrals, documents and follow-up.
Rules and evidence, not personalities.
